We all face situations that can make us feel worried, it’s an emotion we all feel from time to time. 

When I am worried, I write down everything that is worrying or repeating in my mind in my journal. Sometimes we just need to get the feelings out!

I practice mindfulness to help me slow down my thoughts. I lock eyes with one thing around me, and I focus on my breathing for 4 seconds 4 times! 

Try it with me:

Breathe in deep… 1…2…3…4

Hold your breath... 1… 2… 3… 4… 

Breathe out… 1…2…3…4…

Pause again… 1…2…3…4…

I repeat this as many times as I need to.
